Israel Independence Day 2020

Join us for Israel Independence Day 2020 as we celebrate our 72nd Birthday! Unlike all previous years because of the ghastly coronavirus, we celebrate via television, Ipad or iPhone in Tel Aviv. and all over Israel. If you’re one of the luckier Israelis, you’ll enjoy a balcony to shout from whilst observing the fireworks. But still, on this amazing day, we shall proudly commemorate the historic events which lead us to establish our beloved State of Israel. This is the day when all the citizens of Israel, Jews, and Zionists rejoice in the existence of this wonderful country. Against all odds, trials, tribulations, and more than a fair share of trauma, we honor our being and give a jubilated thanks that we have a country to call our own. On the evening of Tuesday, April 28th, 2020 we commemorate Yom HaAtzmaut – the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948. Israel Independence Day 2020, Yom Ha’atzmaut, is preceded by Yom Hazikaron, the Memorial Day for Israeli Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism. May we never forget each and every son and daughter of Israel. In Tel Aviv on Israel Independence Day 2020, we will watch formal presentations, listen to tales of bravery, and be proud to wave our blue and white flags in the confinement of our own homes. This Israel Independence Day 2020 there will be no street parties, no disorderly bars, in short, no White City wildness. However, we will still enjoy the sense of being an amazing inventive, and special country and the only Jewish homeland in the world! We thank each of you for your continued support
